Frequently asked questions

Can I try before I buy?
Yes. Every product has a free 3-day trial, no card and no obligation. Create an account, hit “Try free” and the product activates instantly, exactly like a paid license. At the end of the trial, if you do not buy, the license cancels itself — but your settings stay saved and you can buy anytime.
Which product fits me?
Short version: AutoPatcher = a launcher that auto-updates your players files; Website Server = your server website (rankings, online, votes), hosted at us; ItemShop = donation shop with automatic MD, connected straight to your database. Use them separately or together — each has a free trial and its own dashboard.
What does my player get?
A single archive with your launcher: drop it next to the game (next to _Metin2.exe) and run it. From there everything is automatic: checks, updates and starts the game.
Do I need hosting or a domain?
No. Everything is hosted by us on the Metin2Shop platform. You just configure your server from the dashboard and download the kit.
How do I update my client after first install?
From the dashboard, in the "Update files" section, upload the new file (e.g. locale/ro/data/locale_ro.epk) and set the client folder. Players download it automatically next time they start the launcher.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
At the end of the paid period the launcher switches to maintenance mode with your message — players can still play, only updates pause until you renew.
Which game version is supported?
Any Metin2 client on Windows, with .NET Framework 4 (preinstalled on Windows 10/11).
